American Express Convenience Fee Policy

Shortly after MasterCard, American express announces changes to their Convenience Fee Policy.

American Express had also been watching the Public Sector market closely. When GovPay contacted Amex in December 2007, they said they were changing their policy similar to MasterCards. American Express issued their revised policy in March, 2008. While it is very broad like MasterCard's Program it does not have many restrictions. Registration and separate transactions are not required.
